    What is the story of Dragon Ball Z?

    The series begins with the arrival of Raditz, Goku's brother. Raditz announces to Goku that he is from another planet and has discovered the Dragon Balls, magic balls that grant all wishes when joined together. He tells Goku that he will spare the lives of Goku and his friends if he brings the Dragon Balls to him. Goku agrees to do so, but only if Raditz proves to be powerful enough. He encounters the Red Ribbon Army, led by Colonel Silver, who are gathering the Dragon Balls to take over the world. After foiling their plan, Goku becomes the target of the army. Goku defeats the entire Red Ribbon Army, and when he confronts Colonel Silver, he discovers that he is actually an android. Goku then teams up with his nemesis, the mercenary Tao, to defeat the leader of the Red Ribbon Army, Commander Red. Tao attempts to double-cross Goku and grab the Dragon Balls, but Goku steals his power with his Power Pole. Because of this, Tao returns to the Red Ribbon Army and Goku returns home with his friends, where he lives happily with his wife, Chi-Chi, and his friends.
